The newest VEX Robotics Competition game challenges teams to score, stack, and dominate the field. Watch the official game reveal below.
VEX Override is the latest game in the VEX Robotics Competition series. Teams design and build robots to compete head-to-head in fast-paced matches that test strategy, engineering, and driver skill.
A 12' × 12' competition field where alliances of two robots work together to outscore their opponents during 2-minute matches.
Each match begins with a 15-second autonomous period followed by 1 minute and 45 seconds of driver-controlled play.
Points are earned by manipulating game elements, achieving autonomous bonuses, and strategic positioning during the end-game period.
Teams must design robots within strict size and component constraints, pushing innovation and creativity in engineering solutions.
